The transition to a sustainable circular society represents one of the most significant challenges of our time. It requires a fundamental shift from the traditional linear “take-make-waste” model toward a holistic paradigm in which resource loops are reduced, closed, slowed and narrowed, ecosystems are regenerated, and economic and societal systems are redesigned for long-term wellbeing, justice and resilience.

This conference serves as a global platform for researchers, policy makers and practitioners to address the systemic transformation needed to bridge current knowledge and implementation gaps. While the momentum for circularity is growing, the path to a fully integrated and just transition remains complex.

We invite you to engage, exchange, and collaborate as we work together toward shaping a sustainable circular future.

The conference covers the following thematic tracks:

1. Systemic solutions for circular materials, technologies and processes

2. Design and development of circular products, services and systems

3. Business perspective: Innovation, entrepreneurship, finance and education for sustainability

4. Resilient regions and circular cities

5. Energy and climate neutrality

6. Nature-based solutions as green, social and critical infrastructures

7. Sustainable consumption and social change

8. Circularity policies, governance, engagement and participation

9. Assessing and reporting circularity and sustainability

10. Digitalization and AI for a sustainable circular society
